Around sound art festival and retreat 2013 ended quietly in the taking down of Tetsuya Umeda’s site-specific installation at soundpocket. Thanks for the generous support by the artists, co-organizers and sponsors.
The festival this year ended having delivered a 2-day-1-night retreat camp, exhibitions, durational performance, talks and many endless chats with the wonderful artists.
Around sound art festival and retreat 2013 gathers internationally renowned and Hong Kong’s own sound artists for live performances, installations, and open dialogues. Site-specific works are presented at places that are not conventionally used for art exhibitions. All the works aim at bringing the audience’s attention back to listening itself. Around 2013 addresses the idea of friendship in art making. We ask questions about how and why people come together, and what it is that are shared in those moments as we listen to each other: a sense of humor, a certain sensibility, some lucidity of understanding, and what else?
隨著藝術家梅田哲也的裝置被拆下，「聽在」聲音藝術節及聆聽體驗營2013亦經已結束。感謝藝術家們、合作夥伴及贊助商們的鼎力支持。
《聽在》聲音藝術節及聆聽體驗營2013於2013年1月12日至2月24日舉行。本年度的參與藝術家來自英國、美國、意大利、日本及香港等地。本年度的聆聽體驗營將於元朗嘉道理農場舉行，除了工作坊、聲音步行、藝術家講座及現場演出外，本年度的聆聽體驗營還新設銀髮日營活動，誠邀參加聆聽體驗營的友好推薦長者親友參與，一同登山分享聆聽樂趣。
