Artists Lee Wing-shan Fiona and Au Wing-yan Step will take us on soundwalks around Sha Tin and Shek Kip Mei respectively. They had designed these exercises for the ear to listen to the chacha sounds of the running water of the Shing Mun River, the rustle of the leaves in the trees and the twinkling tips of trees.

年青藝術家李穎姍與區詠欣將分別帶領參加者沿著他們倆預先設定的路程進行聽行練習：
李穎姍遊走沙田，耳聽八方，從這邊到那邊，沿著城門河岸兩邊聆聽早晨大大小小遠遠近近的聲音。李穎姍還邀請參加者於聽行練習後一同共晉早餐！

Perfect Whisper – led by Lee Wing-shan Fiona

Fiona says, “In the morning in the city, you can hear sounds made from different biological activities. They are the whisper of the morning and waking up of the city. No one is nosier than anyone else. In fact, the birds have been calling to start the day while you’re sleeping; and breakfast is already prepared for you. Let’s slow down and feel the space and sounds in this city”.

Aging Wood – led by Au Wing-yan Step
May 19 (Sunday), 2013 | 9:00am – 11:00am
Step says, “At the age of fourteen, I joined a tree therapy programme organized by a religious group. In a journey to the forest, I was introduced to the way of tranquilizing human mind through interacting with plantations there. During the soundwalk, I would like to examine how human perceive the sound of trees in our imagination and in reality”.

區詠欣走遍石硤尾，四出打聽，從樹幹到樹葉，為大家找到區內高高低低唰唰沙沙的各種樹聲。

李穎姍帶領 － 「剛剛好的細語」

李穎姍：「淸晨的聲音包含了很多大致平均的細語，你可以聽到不同生物在城市裡蘇醒起來的活動，沒有誰比誰吵一點。其實鳥兒已在你清夢裡叫喚著一天的開始，早餐也開始為你預備。讓我們放慢腳步，靜心感受在城市裡各生物共享空間的聲音。」

區詠欣帶領 －「秒秒老的人木」

Lee Wing-shan Fiona 李穎姍

Fiona Lee was born in Hong Kong in 1987. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts, major in Critical Intermedia Laboratory in School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong in 2011. Her work Table-Obscura.II:Intimacy received silver award in the Interactive Media Category of the 15th Hong Kong Independent Short Film and Video Awards (IFVA) in 2010. Besides, Delight has been performed in varies sound and multi-media art festivals in a number of countries.

She works on experimental filmmaking, sound performance and interactive installation. Recently, she focuses on the integration of natural material and daily objects with the new technology, in order to explore the possibilities of personal expression.

1987年 生於香港。2011年香港城市大學畢業於創意媒體學院， 主修批判性跨媒體實驗室 。
她的作品曾於不同的藝術節展出，如ifva獨立短片及影像媒體節（香港）、 Hell ! Hot 音樂節（香港）、首爾國際新媒體藝術節（首爾）及2013 失聲祭（台北） 等。作品媒介以裝置和表演為主。現階段關注於日常生活以及大自然裡的微少變化，再而與科技融合，發展出表達個人感受的各種可能性，同時繼續發掘更多聲音的可愛之處。

Au Wing-yan Step 區詠欣

Born in January 1990 in Hong Kong, Step Au is a graduate from School of Creative Media, City University, majoring in Critical Intermedia Laboratory. During the three-year studies, defamilarizing herself for learning has been a decisive practice.

Au is inspired by automatic writing. One of her works was a piece of poetic-like writing turned into a form of human voice. Now she starts to question herself whether her work always has an ambiguous relationship with sound, perhaps unintentionally.

She created a sound and video installation called Declamation during the trip. It is a three-minute sound of water flowing from the sea of West Kowloon in Hong Kong, and merging with the silent dry Soda Lake in the Monjave Desert.

Recently, Au is interested in engaging in community art projects. Communicating with people around her seems more challenging and new than merely doing an installation on her own.

區詠欣，香港城市大學創意媒體學校的畢業生， 主修批判性跨媒體實驗室 。本科三年以自我陌生化為她的研習關鍵。

區詠欣在第一年學習中認識了自動寫作這玩意。作品之一是把一篇類詩的寫作轉化爲人聲的呈現形式。 及直今日，她常反覆思考其作品是否總與聲音有著含混不清的關系，還是出於無意。

在土耳其的四個月交流學習裡，她對當地的自然環境近乎癡迷，特別是樹木。回來後她完成了一件研究樹木聲音的畢業作品。最近，區詠欣有意了解多點關於社區藝術。在她看來，將人們聚在一起比獨自做裝置藝術更富挑戰性。
